Warner Bros. and producer David Heyman have hired Caleb Wilson and Matt Allen to adapt All My Life for Sale, John Freyer's photo book about how the author sold all of his possessions on eBay and then visited the purchasers to see what had become of his stuff.
Heyman liked the book because of what it said about the modern obsession with possessions and how advancements in phone and computer technology have robbed mankind of human contact.
Wilson and Allen are completing their script Four Christmases for an early 2004 start, with Adam Shankman directing Spyglass' first movie since its deal with Sony.
