Halle Berry's Gothika

The new trailer for Halle Berry's Gothika is set to debut tonight on Entertainment Tonight who also visited the set of the supernatural thriller.

"It's scary and it has all the elements of a great Halloween movie," Halle tells Bob about her new movie, which haunts theaters October 24. "But it's also a psychological thriller. [I'm attracted to the genre,] especially at Halloween time. I want to go get my scare on."

In the new thriller from 'The Matrix' trilogy producer JOEL SILVER, Halle plays a criminal psychologist who awakens to find herself as a patient in the very institution in which she works -- with no memory of a murder she's apparently committed.

"[I've been] losing my mind slowly for years, so I'm perfect for this role," jokes Halle. "But really, I talked to my mother. She's been a nurse on the psych ward for 35 years. [I asked her] 'Mom, is this plausible what a woman would do when she woke up in this place? What do you think will be going on in her mind?' She gave me a lot of insight into what really goes on behind those doors for the patients."
